Operational risk management depends on rigorous planning upstream of all oceanography campaigns. We also use special operations sheets set out for each project, and project implementation plans drawn up jointly by the project leads and operational managers, all of which are checked by the QHSE coordinator and approved by the Management Board.
Ensuring safety for our teams and projects
Our QHSE programme applies for everyone that works with us, including subcontractors, and to all our activities. It aims to provide a complete and transparent overview of our organisation so that it can be applied in the best possible conditions. Risks relating to Health, Safety and the Environment are identified in order to reduce them as far as possible.
Protocols defined and implemented by ABYSSA
The protocols that ABYSSA sets out and deploys during our campaigns comply with international standards and operational procedures for collecting oceanographic data, as specified by the scientific research institutes with which we work in close liaison.
