ABYSSA, a French company specialised in deep-sea exploration, is pleased to announce its collaboration with ELWAVE, winner of the France 2030 “deep-sea exploration” award, for its PICCARD project.
Associated with the Institut Mines télécom atlantique, the PICCARD project (sensor integration project for abyssal knowledge and research by drone), aims to develop a new version of an electromagnetic sensor for the study of the deep seabed, enabling the characterization of the nature of the materials present in its environment. The project will call on ABYSSA’s expertise in certain operational and environmental aspects of the technology’s implementation and data analysis.
